VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services for Willis Ray “T-Will” Vidrine will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kevin West officiating services. T-Will passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 in Ville Platte at the age of 79.
Willis Ray “T-Will” Vidrine was born on Monday, February 28, 1944 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to Wilson and Ollie Mae Taylor Vidrine. T-Will was a vehicle body repair man having worked at Pitre Ford Company in Ville Platte and other local shops. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing especially with family. T-Will was a hard worker and had many different interests but his greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
T-Will is survived by his wife, Carol Vidrine; three daughters, Amanda Lalonde of Ville Platte, Susan Godwin and husband, Jerry of Turkey Creek, and Kristy Vidrine of Ville Platte; three grandsons, Justin Lalonde and wife, Abbagale of San Augustine, Texas , Joshua Godwin of Turkey Creek, and Christopher Lalonde of Ville Platte; and brother Paul Bradley Vidrine and wife Janice of Ville Platte.
He is preceded in death by his father, Wilson Vidrine; mother, Ollie Mae Taylor Vidrine; nephew, Brandon Vidrine; and maternal grandmother, Amanda Taylor Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 beginning at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will reopen on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Ville Platte.
