John Randall Vidrine, born on Monday, June 10, 1963, in Lafayette, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Mamou. John was a devoted and skilled cook who dedicated his career to working offshore, where he became known for his cooking talents.
Throughout his life, John was surrounded by a host of cousins and friends who cherished his warm spirit and infectious laughter. He carried with him the love and support of his family, including his beloved parents, John Ellis and Gloria Dean Vidrine, who have preceded him in death. John's strong family ties also extend to his paternal grandparents, Elford and Elizabeth Vidrine, and his maternal grandparents, Polite and Genevieve Fontenot, all of whom have passed on.
John's legacy is one of hard work and an unwavering connection to his family and friends. He will be remembered fondly for the joy he spread and the lives he touched during his time with us.
A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at a later date.
