Wilma (Billie) Trenshaw, 88, died peacefully at home on October 20, 2025 in Burleson, Texas.

She is survived by her son, John Trenshaw, Jr., and wife, Patricia Knoll of Linn, Missouri; her daughter, Jane Burton, and son-in-law, Jimmy Burton of Burleson, Texas; her son, William (Bill) Trenshaw, and wife, Mary Trenshaw, of Linn, Missouri; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Billie was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, November 24, 1936 to William H. Guhman and Myrtle Josephine (Eatherton) Guhman and was raised in Ladue. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy and attended Fontbonne University. Billie married John Trenshaw, Sr. on November 8, 1958.

Along with her family, Billie enjoyed getting away to the beach and mountains. She would be ready at a moment’s notice to pack her kids up and head to King’s Canyon, Lake Arrowhead or the Sequoias for short weekend camping trips. She loved to fish, play cards and sit and enjoy God’s creation.

Billie was a dedicated member of her church. Her kindness and generosity led her to volunteer at the local food pantry and Next Step Women’s Center. Her main passion was working with Cursillo. She served on many teams supporting women in their walk of faith. Her joy and love were evident to all who made their Cursillo weekend.

Billie was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Trenshaw, Sr.; son, Michael Trenshaw; son, James Trenshaw; daughter, Linda Trenshaw; parents, William and Myrtle Guhman; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Robert (Bob) Vonderheid; brother, William Guhman; and sister, Doris Guhman.

There will be a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 100 S.W. Alsbury Blvd., Burleson. Private Burial will be held at the family cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Next Step Women’s Center or a charity of your choice.
