Wilma Jean Brussell

Wilma Jean Trout Brussell, 94, of Greenup, passed away at 11:00 pm on Saturday June 24, 2023, at the Cumberland Rehabilitation and Health Care in Greenup.
A memorial graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Friday June 30, 2023, at the Washington Cemetery on the York Road. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup is assisting the family.
Jean was born on July 26, 1928, in Casey, IL. She is the daughter of L. Kenneth and Esther (Rupp) Trout. Wilma married William Brussell Jr. on June 30, 1950, and he preceded her on May 28, 2013. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Juli Brussell; one niece; nephew Mike (Linda) Dittamore; and friends Polly Brink, Larry and Kathy Diener, David Bright, Gary Phillipi, and the Terry and Shelia Holsapple family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons David and Kevin Brussell and sister Martha Crouch.
Jean worked as a retail clerk for many years and attended the Pleasant Valley Church, and the Trinity Lutheran Church in Casey. Jean loved read.
