Wilma Lummer

Wilma Lummer, age 90, of Kinnelon died peacefully Monday, November 27, 2023, at home. Wilma was born on June 11, 1933, in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Paul Bernhard and the late Pauline (Busch) Buder.
Wilma was a wonderful homemaker and loved to entertain. She loved to cook, sew, decorate her home, and was an avid bowler. Wilma was the former president of the Kinnelon Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Morris County Bowlers Association.
She is survived by her beloved children, Steven and wife Linda and daughter in law Theresa Lummer, six cherished grandchildren, Christine, Cynthia, Meredith Benedetti and husband Kyle, Richard Lummer and wife Amanda, Shannon Aikey and husband Matt, and Tracy Cahoon and husband Rob, and adored great grandchildren, Liam, Oliver and Silas. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Wilma was predeceased by her devoted husband, Richard F. Lummer, her loving son, Gary Lummer, and a dear brother Rex Buder.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm-5:00pm on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered Monday, December 4th, 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Our Lady of the Magnificat Cemetery.
