Bowman Funeral Directors - Garden CityIn Loving Memory of Wilma Jean Potts
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wilma Jean Potts, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on December 13, 1932, in Holly, Colorado, to John and Matilda Thomas, Wilma lived a life filled with love, kindness, and quiet strength.
She left this world as she lived in it — with grace — surrounded by the love of her daughters in the comfort of her home.
Wilma made her home in Boise, Idaho, where she devoted her life to caring for others. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital and the Idaho State Veterans Home, where her gentle spirit and healing hands touched countless lives.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Karen Bellegante (and husband Gene) and Donna Lloyd (and husband Ken), as well as seven cherished grandchildren and twelve adored great-grandchildren — each of whom carries a part of her love and legacy in their hearts.
Wilma was preceded in death by her loving husband, her dear son, her parents, siblings, and many nieces and nephews who no doubt welcomed her with open arms in heaven.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Mom has been reunited with those she loved and missed so deeply. She is now at peace, embraced in the everlasting joy of heaven — her spirit free, her smile eternal.
Her warmth, her laughter, and the way she loved so deeply will never be forgotten. She will live on in every story shared, every life she touched, and every heart that carries her memory forward.
We love you, Mom. Until we meet again.
