Wilma Ann (Streble) Bartley, Age 85 of Pleasureville, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Richwood Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. Born on Thursday, December 21, 1939, in Bullitt County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Bessie Ann (Wells) Streble. A woman of faith, she raised her family with Christian values and formerly attended Eminence Baptist Church. She was a homemaker for many years raising her children and caring for her family, before she worked at Norms Deli, Superior Deli, and the Old Depot. A true lady of style, she enjoyed her clothes, shoes, hats, jewelry and accessories. She was an avid reader and was always excited to travel and sightsee. Wilma was a fun spirited person with a great sense of humor, whose presence brought great joy to her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime partner, Bobby Nolin; two sisters, Mary Lou Hackett and Norma Fowler; and grandson, Justin Ray Bartley.
She is survived by her sons, Tim Bartley (Sylvia) of Shelbyville, and Darrin Bartley of Lagrange; daughters, Julie Franklin (Scott) of Pleasureville, and Gina Bohannon of Taylorsville; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Streble (Bettie) and Raymond Streble (Norma), both of Lebanon Junction; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Beckley Funeral Home with Reverend Joey Woods Officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the funeral home and from 11 AM until the time of service on Saturday. Interment will follow at Pleasureville Cemetery. To honor Wilma’s life, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601. With care and professionalism, arrangements are under the direction of Beckley Funeral Home.
