Wilma Kaye Wesley, 82, of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on May 19, 1942 to the late Theodore and Ruby (Wesley) Spears in Casey County, Kentucky. Wilma enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. She also loved working word searches and drinking Pepsi.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Falin of Mt. Vernon; grandson, Wesley & (Rachel) Falin of Brodhead; granddaughters, Linda Kaye & (Malik) Wesley of Cincinnati and Tiffany & (Michael) Napier of Clay City; great-grandkids, Wessen Falin, Alizabeth Falin, Joel Wesley, Molly Napier, and Sarah Wilks; her sisters, Lillian Wesley and Faye Wesley; a special family of sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joel Wesley; a son, Ronnie Wesley; a son-in-law, Darrel Falin; her grandson, Andrew Wesley; and her sisters, Betty Gaye Spears, Saundra Drury, Mary Ada Godby, and Claudie Spears; and her brothers, Ken Wesley, Arnold Spears, Arvil Lee Spears, Johnny Clay Spears, and David Spears.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Miller and Bro. Lyman Fisher officiating.

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Tuesday, September 24, 2024 until time for services.
