Wilma Carol Wilson Smith

Wilma Carol Wilson Smith, 85, of Burlington passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Charles Franklin Smith and the daughter of the late Garnett Jeffery Wilson and the late Virgie Mae Loy Wilson. She retired from being the owner and operator of Carol's Style Center and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Gidget Smith Lockemy; son, Jeffrey Lynn Smith; grandsons, Cody Lockemy and Jacson Pugh; and great–grandchildren, Landon Lockemy and Madalyn Lockemy. Her nieces were Donna Baldwin and Rhonda Smith. And great niece was Ashley Baldwin and great great nephew was Gage Jones.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Jean Horner.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 12:45 pm prior to the funeral service. The committal service will be held immediately following the funeral service at Alamance Memorial Park.
