Wilmer Delk Obituary
Wilmer Lee Delk, age 92 of the Mt. Vernon Community in Clay County, TN passed away Tuesday evening, June 3, 2025, at his son’s residence. Wilmer is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Funeral Services for Wilmer Lee Delk will be conducted Thursday afternoon, June 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN with Brother Junior Delk & Larry Delk officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Thursday morning from 8:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm
He is preceded in death by: wife, Geneva (Browning) Delk; parents, Clure “Cotton” & Clio (Whitaker) Delk; sisters, Edith Louise Tosh & Elese West.
Survivors include: son, Larry Delk & wife, Lillie of Lafayette; sister, Blanche Goodman & husband, Glenn of Bowling Green; brothers, John B. Delk, Joe Delk both of Portland, Junior Delk & wife, Linda of Bethpage; devoted Caregiver, Robin Claywell of Lafayette; several nieces, nephews, and family.
