Wilmer L. Streblow

Wilmer L. Streblow, 91, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at The Auberge of Brookfield.

He was born on June 15, 1934 to Leona Wagoner. Wil was a lifelong resident of the Watertown-Lake Mills area. He graduated from Lake Mills High School in 1953.

Wil served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

In 1957 he graduated from DeVry Tech as a Broadcast TV Technician. He was employed by Channel Three Madison for seven years and the University Station WHA-TV for twenty-three years. He retired in 1997.

In October 1958 he married Carol Ann Setz. She was the daughter of Margaret and Edward Setz of Waterloo. She predeceased him in February of 1994.

In August 1997 he married Lois Boeder Pankow. She predeceased him in January of 2023.

His lifelong interests were home remodeling, wood working, golf, cards, traveling with his motor home, powerboating, painting and drawing, playing the accordion, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include three children: Lisa (Dave) Taylor of Whitefish Bay, Lori (Jon) Kaskie of San Diego, CA, and Steven (Stephanie) Streblow of Greer, SC. Wil had seven grandchildren: Jessica and Jake Taylor; Jay (Jennifer) Douglas and Andrew Kaskie; Joshua (Heather) Streblow and Michael Streblow; five great-grandchildren: Jayden, Kyvin, Sutton, Stevie, and Nathan. Wil is further survived by his step-children: Dale (Mary Ellen) Pankow and Lynne (Dave) Stalker; step-grandchildren: Carrie Grissmeyer, Stacie (Clint) Knaak, Jennifer Nelson, Kevin (Tabitha) Pankow, Allison Pankow, and Courtney (Eric) Kletsch; step-great-grandchildren: Kirsten Knaak, Colton (Rachel) Knaak, Ava Grissmeyer, Emma Nelson, Mady Nelson, Bryce Pankow, and Grant Pankow; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his two wives and stepson, Thomas Pankow.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A private family burial will be held at Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills.
