Wilson Espinal Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McDonough Funeral Home on Nov. 4, 2024.
Wilson Espinal, 49, passed away on October 30, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on July 14, 1975, in Medellin, Colombia, Lowell was the beloved son of Carlos A. Espinal of Medford and the late Beatriz (Castano) Espinal. He spent his early years in Colombia, attending school there, before moving with his family to the United States at age 15. The Espinals settled in Framingham, Massachusetts, where Wilson continued his education and began building a life grounded in strength, resilience, and a fierce love for family.
Wilson's joy for life was infectious, and his interests reflected his adventurous spirit. He found his greatest thrill jet skiing, racing cars, and motocross-pursuits that allowed him to live life at full speed. Despite facing significant health challenges, including a double kidney transplant and years on dialysis from a young age, he refused to let these obstacles define him. Instead, he embraced life fully, always with a smile and a heart filled with gratitude.
Above all, Wilson cherished the time spent with his family, sharing his passions and encouraging those close to him to join in his adventures. He leaves behind his cherished children, Milena Espinal, Saidy Espinal, and Wilson Espinal, as well as his devoted sister, Elsa V. Espinal; and the mother of his children, Brenda Mcnee. His enduring strength and joyful spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In accordance with his wishes, all services will take place privately.
