Winfred Mahaffey, age 82, of Greenville, passed on December 26, 2024.
He was born on December 2, 1942 to Fred Dewey Mahaffey and Thelma Margaret Mahaffey at Greenville, SC. He worked as a supervisor in textiles for many years. He proudly served in the Army for 4 years. He was also a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Winfred is survived by his daughters, Charlene Derrick, and Shirley Williams; his grandchildren, Dylan Landrum, Caroline Williams, and Daniel Williams; his brothers, Jack Mahaffey, and Danny Mahaffey; his sister, Levesta Sutherland; and his beloved dog Bud.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Sarah Pilgrim Mahaffey; his parents; and his sister, Wilma Whaley.
Visitation will be held on January, 3 ,2025 from 1:30-2:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, Easley, SC.
A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 3:00 PM at Graceland West Cemetery.
