Winslow Clifford Eaves was born on June 22, 1977 to late Clifford and Mary (Dorrington) Eaves. He grew up in Andover, New Hampshire and was raised with his older brother, Joshua Eaves in a very loving, artistic, imaginative and extraordinary family where there were no bounds to what the day could hold.
His family did everything you could think of to do under the sun. From building teepees to creating magical gardens that cascaded down the landscape, and lots of wonderful summer trips up to Pitchwood Island. This was a family that knew the quality of life and how to embrace it.
Winslow's is a family of artists in almost every medium. Winslow's grandfather was a renowned master sculptor, his father Clifford was a master stained glass artist and Winslow was very adept at everything he did, from sketching to wood carving.
Winslow attended and graduated from Merrimack high school and went on to study art at Syracuse University. After school, he turned his art towards a more constructive medium, and became a master carpenter, whose work still lives on today and is something to marvel at. To say he was talented would be putting it mildly, he literally would breathe creativity into anything that he touched.
Winslow was passionate about the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and camping. The outdoors was where he felt most at home. He was very knowledgeable about everything in the natural world and enjoyed many adventures into the wild foraging for mushrooms and naming off types of trees like they were long forgotten friends.
Out of all the art he ever created, despite all the beautiful things he built, his most prized accomplishment was his two daughters. Winslow loved his daughters fiercely, and was immensely proud of the women they have become. They were a beacon to his soul and the light of his life.
He is survived by his two daughters, Alexis Morgan and Samantha Faye, his brother Joshua, and will be missed by numerous friends and family.
And as Winslow always said, c'est la vie!
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Newport, NH.

So sad when a life is cut short, especially a loved one. If Mary and Cliff were right Winslow has joined them as a noble soul in the ether.

Thank you for this write up. It was a good feeling to see my entire family, even under these circumstances. We are a very proud Irish, Scottish, Welsh and German family who were very close and enjoyed spending lots of time together. My family was very humanitarian and humble and will always remain as such. My brother was very kind and Lisa found the Sacred Geometry books he gave her and we had a great walk down memory lane. It was nice seeing the girls again. All the best to them on their journey through life.

In Loving Memory of Winslow Eaves - A Heart That Felt Everything

Winslow was a spark of light, a burst of color, a soul that painted the world in unique and beautiful ways.

He was an artist of extraordinary depth-a creator, a dreamer, and someone who felt the world with a sensitivity that was both beautiful and heavy. He told me about a quote that I believe captured him perfectly:

"I am a child with an old soul. I see magic in everything, but at the same time, everything tires me because I feel everything so very deeply." -Juansen Dizon

That was Winslow. He saw the wonder in things and his art reflected it. It was never just about colors or shapes-it was about truth, vulnerability, and the emotions that connect us all. Winslow loved gently but fiercely. And even in his stillness, he moved people.

There´s a space in this world now that only Winslow could have filled. But his spirit echoes in every home he built, every piece of art he left behind, in every life he touched, and in the way he taught us to see-really see-the beauty and pain of being human.

Rest well, Winslow. You were a rare and radiant soul. You are deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
