Winthorpe Joseph Wilson, 58, of Bethlehem Twp, affectionately known as Junior by friends and loved ones or Wilson to his colleagues, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was born on June 24, 1966, in Christiana, Manchester, Jamaica. He is the son of the late Noel and Millicent (Davy) Wilson. In the 1980s, he moved to New York and graduated from Uniondale High School. Although living in the United States, Winthorpe was proud of his Jamaican culture and heritage.
He was a truck driver for over twenty years, employed by New Penn Motors Express and, most recently, Pitt Ohio. He and his wife and son are a part of the Faith Community Assembly of God church family and are devoted believers in Christ. He is a kind, loving, dedicated husband and father who always puts family first. He was very handy, always building or designing things. Outside was his favorite place, whether gardening or relaxing near his handmade fish pond. Winthorpe will be remembered for his jovial personality, helpful nature, and jokes that made everyone laugh.
Winthorpe is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Keisha (Shakespeare) Wilson; children Zachary, Meagan, Michelle, and Brianna Wilson; grandchildren Yulana, Milani, and Madison Hurvey; sisters Angela Copeland, Marcia Wilson, and Donna Seburn; brothers Andrew Copeland and wife Lavern, Rodney Wilson, and wife Camille, and Kirk Wilson and wife Reesa; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Faith Community Assembly of God, 3000 Freemansburg Ave, Easton, PA, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the church. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Highway, Easton, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
