Worth worked at North Cascades National Park from about 2012 - 2014, in several aspects of rangering, including law enforcement and search and rescue. His National Park Service period followed his career with WA State Fish and Wildlife, so he brought quite an experienced patrol background to North Cascades. We benefited from that, and he was great to work with, had very high standards for himself and the cause of the National Park Service, and sometimes for the rest of us too! This crew photo was taken at the conclusion of a high angle rope rescue training day in 2012. I am sorry to hear of Worth's passing.

I am glad I got to know such a warm and decent person as Worth, and I am devastated by his passing.

I had the pleasure of working with Worth when he was a Fish and Wildlife Officer in Marblemount. Worth and I worked a lot of great patrols together and I remember having many interesting conversations. We ran a decoy patrol on the top of Rainy Pass and had to call it quits when neither one of us could feel our fingers or toes. He was kind and thoughtful and very smart. My sincere condolences to his friends and family, he was a dear soul.

I worked with Worth while he was employed by WDFW Police, in Washington State. Worth was very passionate about his work and took great pride in what he did. Thoughts and prayers to his family during this very difficult time.

I remember when Worth came to work for the Montpelier post office. I was the Postmaster. My supervisor Liane and I interviewed Worth and were quite impressed with his life and background. We were lucky to have him. Eventually he left the USPS but I heard he returned and I saw him delivering mail one day which made me smile. Nicest guy you could ever meet! My condolences to the loved ones he left behind.
