Funeral services for Wynema "Judy" Roberts will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church. Wake services will be Sunday, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel of Okemah. Interment will be at the Roberts Family Cemetery.

Wynema Roberts was born November 13, 1950 in Okfuskee County to Cainey and Stella (Pierce) Roberts. She passed from this life on August 7, 2025.

Wynema graduated from Nuyaka High School and later attended Draughon's Business School in Tulsa. She worked as a guard at the Oklahoma State Prison; Wrangler Factory, Creek Nation Smoke Shop / Store and served as Creek National Representative having served two terms (1992-93 / 1994-95) during her retirement for several years. She enjoyed doing beadwork and visiting with family and friends. Wynema provided and did all the beadwork for the crowns for Creek Princesses for man years until her eyesight began to fail. She was also baptized and a member of the Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patty Factor and Maryetta Leitka.

Survivors include one sister, Patsy Pigeon (Willie) of Okemah; three brothers, Carney Roberts of Okemah, Roy Roberts (Teri) of Okemah and Cainey Roberts, Jr. of Oklahoma City; great uncle, Harry Douglas of Okemah and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Russell Roberts, Paul Roberts, Clinton Roberts, Jerome Roberts, Steve Pigeon and Joe Leitka.

Honorary bearers include Anthony Roberts and Kendall Roberts.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home Okemah, Oklahoma and officiated by Rev. Jimmy Hicks.
