Xavier Cruz Saucedo, 18, passed away on February 11, 2026, in Eagle Mountain, Utah. He was born on September 7, 2007, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gabriela Herrera and Javier Saucedo. He is the beloved younger brother of Jazlin Saucedo-Ramirez.
Xavier was a genuine, kindhearted, respectful, and loving young man whose smile could light up any room. Though he could be shy at times, he also had a vibrant and outgoing side that brought joy to those around him. He was funny, full of life, and always ready to make the people he loved laugh.
He had a deep love for cars, especially his BMW, a car he worked hard to earn. For someone so young, Xavier carried an impressive work ethic and took pride in what he accomplished.
Music was another passion of his. He loved dancing and singing his heart out when he thought no one was listening. Those quiet, joyful moments will forever be treasured by his family.
Family meant everything to Xavier. He never left without saying, “I love you,” and he made sure those words were heard at the end of every phone call. He cherished traveling to Mexico to visit his grandparents’ home state and spending time with the people he loved most.
Xavier will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His love, his laughter, and the lessons he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Javier Saucedo; his mother, Gabriela Herrera; his sister, Jazlin Saucedo-Ramirez; and his grandparents. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.
