Xenia Jurczyk Obituary
Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, under the direction of Trimble Funeral Home, Coal Valley. Entombment will be in Moline Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
The former Xenia Freimanis was born August 11, 1925, in Riga, Latvia. She married Helmut Jurczyk in 1945, and the couple came to the United States in 1952. Helmut died in 1988. Xenia was employed by Montgomery Elevator Company for many years, retiring as Assistant to the President.
Xenia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kathy Jurczyk of Coal Valley; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer Hayes, Nicholas Jurczyk, Justin Jurczyk, Christa and Scott Emmer, and Amanda and Tom Morrison; five great-grandchildren, Alex Emmer, Kayleigh and Lauryn Jurczyk, and Madelyn and Payton Hayes; a sister, Irene Krumins; and a niece, Christy Krumins-Warras. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, George Jurczyk, and a grandson, Andrew Jurczyk.
