Yda Leger Obituary
Our beloved, Yda Beulah Leger, was peacefully called home on 08-22-24. She was the baby of 8 sisters born on Oct. 05, 1934 to Benjamin and Beulah Stracener in DeRidder, La. where she was living at the time of her death. Yda was very caring, loving, patient, hard-working, and she loved all of her family with all of her heart. She doted on her children and grandchildren and will be terribly missed by all of them and her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Mike and Brenda Leger, Jana Campbell, Patti and Stephen Borne, sister-n-love Lucille, her much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, James C. Leger, son Terry Leger, granddaughters Jessica and Jennifer Leger, and Jamie Lynn Borne.
Services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Viewing will be from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with funeral service to follow and burial at Highland Memorial in Lake Charles.
