Preceding her in death was her mother-in-law, Rosa Elva Ortiz; and maternal grandmother, Julia Ibarra de Zapata;
Family members left to cherish her memory include her husband of 11 years, Chris R. Ortiz of Del RIo; children: Taylor, Santiago, Juan Zuriel, and Rosa Adelina; God-Daughter, D'Maries Alonso; parents, Elsa Juanita and Humberto Sanchez Jr. of Del Rio; siblings: Humberto Sanchez III, Carolina Sanchez, and Lilyana Z Sanchez, all of Del Rio; paternal grandparents, Concepcion and Humberto Sanchez of Zaragoza; Yesenia is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and other relatives/friends;
A Catholic Mass will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11 a.m.at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico. A funeral procession by foot will follow the Mass to Funeraria Socorro in Zaragoza. Visitation will be held all day and through the night at the funeral home. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith in Del Rio. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
