Yinghong Wang – Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend
August 6, 1949 – November 9, 2025
With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Yinghong Wang, who passed away in
Troy, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and grace.
Born on August 6, 1949, in Baoding, China, she was the youngest of nine siblings. Her adolescence was shaped by the upheaval of the Cultural Revolution, during which she endured family separation and hardship with remarkable strength. These early experiences forged a spirit defined by courage, optimism, and compassion.
She graduated from Baoding Zhi Gong College, where she studied mechanical processing and manufacturing. Her dedication to education and self-improvement continued throughout her life, even as she held leadership roles as a manufacturing facility director and vice principal. Later, she founded and managed her own company until retirement.
Beyond her professional achievements, she was a vibrant soul who loved sports-especially table tennis. After retiring, she earned a provincial coaching license and became a beloved coach at a local youth training center. Upon immigrating to the United States, she continued teaching table tennis at Chinese language schools and summer camps, sharing her passion and helping promote Chinese culture in her new community.
In 2019, she was baptized at the Detroit Chinese Alliance Church North, embracing her faith with joy and humility. She and her husband became deeply involved in the Chinese American community, forming lasting friendships and enriching the lives of those around them.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Longhai Ye, and their daughter, Ye(Denise) Ye. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
