Obituary published on Legacy.com by Corley Funeral Home - Corsicana on Oct. 1, 2025.
Yolanda Singleton went to be with our Lord on September 29, 2025. She was gently wrapped in His arms as she reunited with the many loved ones who preceded her in Heaven.
Yolanda was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, aunt, and dear friend. She is survived by her husband Steve Singleton; her brother, Patrick Moya; her sister, Gilda Murtha, and husband Bill; her son-in-law, Steve Power; her nephews, Ernie and John; and her niece, Tracy. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ernie Moya, and her beloved daughter, Karyn Power.
Yolanda was born on October 30, 1946, and grew up in Los Angeles, California. In 1991, she married the love of her life, Steve Singleton. Together they shared 40 beautiful years filled with joy, companionship, and countless treasured memories. Yolanda cherished her daughter Karyn, her family, and her bonus family Mary and Joe Rubalcaba, Dylan Ondarza, and Julia Ondarza
who brought her great joy.
A woman of many talents, Yolanda had a passion for sewing, crafting, and especially cooking. She was known as an exceptional cook whose delicious meals and baked goods were always eagerly anticipated by her family and friends. She also lived her faith through service as a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Corsicana, where she found community and friendship.
Yolanda's life was marked by selflessness, love, and quiet strength. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday October 10, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3000 W State Highway 22, Corsicana, TX 75110, followed by a reception, in the Parish Hall, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the warmth and love Yolanda gave so freely.
