Yolanda Thomas, a beloved daughter of Augusta, Georgia, was born on October 1, 1972. She graced the world with her presence for 53 beautiful years, leaving a legacy of warmth and compassion that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Yolanda passed away peacefully in her hometown on October 12, 2025.
Growing up in Augusta, Yolanda was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends. Her infectious smile and caring nature drew people to her, making those around her feel valued and loved. Whether through her words or simple acts of kindness, she touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on her community.
As we remember Yolanda, we invite all those whose lives she influenced to come together in her honor. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. The following day, Friday, October 24, a funeral service will take place at the same location starting at 11:00 AM, followed by her interment at Walker Memorial Park at 12:15 PM.
Yolanda is survived by a loving community that will miss her deeply, holding her memory close to their hearts. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will soar forever in the love she freely gave to those fortunate enough to know her. Let us gather to celebrate her beautiful life and the profound impact she made on us all.
