Young Ae Im

Young Ae Im, age 88, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on June 7, 2024, she was born on April 26,1936, in Pochen-Si Gyeonggi-Do, South Korea.  

Young Ae was the beloved wife of the late Jong Ok Im; and a cherished mother, survived by Son, Young Tek and his wife, Moon Sun Jang; Daughters, Jeyon Kang and her husband, Seung Don; Myong Pifer and her husband, Dale; Kumhui Waltrup and her husband, Stephen; and Meehee Han and her husband, Yang Soo.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Young Sook and Young Hee.  Young Ae was the proud grandmother to Chae Hyun, Chae Hong, Hyun Ah, Yu Jin,

Nicholas Radde (Sarah}, Melissa Greer, Andrea Cinelli (Rocky}, Stephanie Slusher (Jeff), Dara Keyes (Jesse), Krystine Flaherty (Nick), Yong Woo and Yong Woon.   She also leaves behind 15 great-grandchildren.

Young Ae was the proud owner of the Young factory, that manufactured traditional Korean purses and accessories.  Additionally, she served as a partner at Steak Buster from 1993, until her retirement in 2000.  She worshiped at Min Jok (Korean) Presbyterian Church and found joy in hobbies such as sewing, crafting, journaling, and dancing.

A visitation for Young Ae Im will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services P.A., located at 1 2nd Ave S.W., Glen Burnie, MD 21061, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 4-7 pm.  (Services at 6pm)
