Yvonne Theresa Campbell

Yvonne Theresa Campbell (affectionately known as "Bonnie") 1940-1925 Yvonne Theresa Campbell, beloved mother to 3 children, 85, of Stamford, CT, passed away at Stamford Hospital on July 16th, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She was born in Washington, DC in 1940 to Cliff and Marguerite Bethea. She attended schools in Washington DC until moving to Stamford at age 10 to live with her aunt Francis and uncle Cornelius Harper, where she attended Cloonan Middle School and Stamford High School. Yvonne loved her family. She adored her children Tina (Theresa Bogus) Campbell, son Stanley Campbell & Cousin/brother Cornelius Harper Jr. was a devoted grandmother to David, Jenny, Jeffvory, Charlie, Lil Stanley (deceased), Travis, Stephany & Marcus and quite a few great grands, her pride and joy. She also loved being a "great, great" grandmother and said, our family goes on. Yvonne took special joy in music and had fond memories of her father Cliff being a member of the Southern Pioneers. Her children would wake up to her singing in the morning. Music always filled the house. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Campbell Sr., son, Stanley Campbell Jr., grandson, Stanley Campbell III, her sister, Sharon Murphy and is survived by her daughter Theresa "Tina Campbell" Bogus & Sharon Campbell, Cousin Cornelius Harper, grand Children, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. Her Viewing 10:00 a.m. and Homegoing celebration 11:00 a.m. is Thursday, July 24th, 2025, at Bethel AME Church150 Fairfield Avenue, Stamford, CT. She will be interred with her Aunt Francis Harper in a separate private service. Repass will be held at Pellicci's Restaurant 96 Stillwater Ave, Stamford, CT.
