Zachary Jacob Orendorff

Zachary Jacob Orendorff, "Zach", passed away on August 22, 2024, in York, PA, at the age of 41, as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident. After a life marked by struggle and addiction, he is finally free from pain.
Born on July 19, 1983, in Hanover, PA, Zach grew up in the country, riding bikes, fishing, and playing sports. He was a daredevil and enjoyed dirt bikes and four wheelers and climbing rocks. At a young age he developed a passion for Michigan football and could give you any statistic you wanted to know and some you didn't. Zach never met a stranger and always had a story to tell.
After school, Zach learned the trade of plastering from his dad, Paul. He was strong and talented. He knew people from all walks of life and never looked down on anyone. Most importantly, Zach had a fierce love for his children and was proud of each of them.
Zach is survived by his parents, Paul and Deb Orendorff; his partner, Teresa Eckert; and his children, Heather Rippeon and Quinton, Adrian and Marley Orendorff. He also leaves behind his siblings, Jenell Boyer and husband Kevin, Ryan Orendorff and wife Molly, and Sarah Orendorff and partner David Becker. His grandmother, Doris Lawrence, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, will also hold his memory dear. Zach was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Carroll Lawrence and William Orendorff, and his grandmother, Annie Orendorff.
A Celebration of Life for Zach will be held at Grofts' Woods, 1752 Storms Store Road, New Oxford, PA, on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather to honor and celebrate Zach's life.
Memorial contributions can be made in Zach's name to Not One More, York, PA Chapter, to support others who struggle with addiction.
