Zelda Ann Richards of Celina, TX was born on September 7, 1948, to Dan and Luvenia Jordan in Bowie, TX. She passed away on Tuesday July 19, 2023. Zelda was married to Lonnie Richards for 49 years and together for 51.
Zelda was most happy when she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and family. She enjoyed reading and having bible studies. She loved going to Broken Bow, OK with her husband Lonnie and shopping with her girls. Throughout life Zelda was also a seamstress, care giver for the elderly and housewife. She loved to make people laugh and spent hours on end talking on the phone to her family and friends or watching westerns. Zelda had the most beautiful smile and is loved by so many. Now, where there is a huge hole in our heart, we will fill by sharing our love and memories of her. Until we meet again.
Zelda is survived by her husband, Lonnie of Celina, TX; sister Ava Galliton and husband, David of Henrietta, TX; two daughters, Lisa Smithart and husband Roger Keith and Fellicity Birge and husband Robert; several grandchildren, Christy Smithart, Jessica Barr and husband Bradon, Lacey Smithart, Jerad Peach and wife, Jaimee, and Landon Peach; great grandchildren, Trenton Simmons, Madisyn Fira, Jocelyn Fira, Janalee Peach, Jaylee Peach, Jayden Peach and Fallyn Barr.; numerous nieces and nephews which included niece, Lee Richardson and her husband Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dan Jordan and Luvenia Stephenson; brothers, Earl Jordan, and JD Jordan; sisters, Pearl Hohenstein and Wanda
