Zola Marie Workman Carroll, 95, of St. Albans, WV passed away November 3, 2024 at the residence of her daughter, Suzette Harrison, surrounded by her loving children.
She was born May 30, 1929 in Sistersville, WV to the late Edward Lyle Workman and Violet Lu Eddy. Zola is also preceded in death by her husband Arthur "Gene" Carroll; daughter and son in law Belinda (Ron) Marshall; sister Eva Lee Ramsey; brother Gyle L. Workman.
Zola was a homemaker, cook, member of Washington Street Church of Christ, enjoyed hand quilting, card sending ministry, Civil War reenacting, volunteer at many different organizations and she loved to travel.
She is survived by her children Lindsay (Diane) Carroll, Rose (Bob) Branham, Brenda Siaweleski, Jim Carroll, Suzette (Ted) Harrison and so many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 9th, 2:00pm at the Nitro Church of Christ with Brother Robert "Bob" Crawford officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Sistersville, WV.
A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
