She was born on November 10, 1942 in Liberty, daughter of the late Arnold and Geneva P. Patterson Richardson. She was a dedicated homemaker, though she had no children of her own, she loved and cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Zonia was of the Pentecostal Faith and an independent, straight-forward and opinionated type person that could always make others laugh. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother; Glancy Garland "Tubby" Richardson, two sisters; Alburta Richardson who died in infancy and Ivadean Richardson Strevels, 2 nephews; Gregory Garland Richardson and Anthony Buin Richardson.
She is survived by two nieces; Debra Meece of Yosemite, Kentucky and Angela Luttrell of Dunnville, Kentucky and several great nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of life Service will be held at a later date. You may offer condolences and sign the Online Tribute Book at
