Zora Bell Williams, age 84, transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at AHC Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born August 27,1939 in Paris, Tennessee to the union of Charlie Williams and Lula Perry Williams.
Zora was educated in the Henry County Public School System. She graduated from Central High School in Paris, TN.
Zora was a member of The Church of the Living God. Where she served faithfully until her health prevented her from attending.
Zora worked at the shirt factory, Atkins-Porter schools and was an aide and caregiver.
She loved to read her Bible and solve crossword puzzles, talking on the phone with her siblings and watching her daily soap operas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Annie) Williams and Lula Perry Williams, seven sisters; Lottie Hutcherson, Katie Taylor, Martha Blakemore, Vire Lee Cunningham, Elwanda Haynes, Mary Williams, Julia Ann Parks and two brothers; Henry Williams and Charlie Williams Jr.
Zora leaves to cherish her sweet memories her loving and devoted children; Paula ( Victor Watkins) Johnson, Nicholas Williams, Roderick (Heather) Williams. Siblings; Charlestyne Upchurch, Helen Scott, Sarah Kennedy, Marilyn (William) Tharpe, Elder Raymond Williams and Dannie Williams, all of Paris; and Sandra (Boss) McNeal, Louisville, Ky. Grandchildren; Chris Atkins, Tristen Atkins, Brandon Julius, Chelsea Williams, Jazmine Williams, Elijah Williams, and Sydney Williams, Chris and Tristen a host of greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
