I just came across this memorial page for Joe Roth. I worked for Joe many years ago when I was 17 or 18 driving one of his huge Hendrickson diesel dump trucks with a 13 speed transmission and a Detroit Diesel engine. I had never driven any huge truck before, let alone something so huge. But Joe was willing to give me a start - which led to many opportunities later. I remember him sayin, "Go ahead." I wish he was here to tell him "thank you" for that opportunity - even though he took a big risk letting a youngster like me handle one of those big rigs. Joe has gone on ahead, and I am sure he'd still say, "Ah, go ahead."

Your daughter Donna is a blessing as a daughter in law.. If I had someone to choose there would be no match to Donna. You steered her in the right path as a daughter in law,a wife and a mother. You raised a wonderful daughter!

He appeared to me in a dream I had last night, wearing a fedora hat and beaming with a broad smile. I think he is happy where ever he is.
I have many good memories during the times I worked, both for him, and with him.
Rest in peace Joe...I'll look for you when it's my turn to pass over to that side of life.
