It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Mac. A long-time Naples resident, formerly of Saratoga Springs, NY, Ed was a pillar of the community and will be greatly missed.
Ed was preceded by his father, Edward McDermott, Sr; and mother, Rose Colucci McDermott.
He is survived by his daughter, Afton McDermott; and many family members in New York.
Ed's greatest joy for the last few years were his Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 1st at 11:00 a.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples.

Ed was a perfect gentleman who knew how to provide mentorship and delegate leadership with class, kindness, and respect. Moreover, he exemplified unprecedented dedication to his work and offered his friendship with an open heart. Those that knew him loved him for his generosity, his impeccable sense of humor, and his genuine compassion. He will be missed every day, his soul walks beside us, and his memories will be cherished always. All my best to his loving wife Julie and his entire family. God bless his tender soul.
