Guy H. Pullen passed away in Naples, FL on August 5, 2016.
Guy was born on August 1, 1928 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he grew up with his brother James (deceased), his mother, Dorothy Hunter Pullen, and father Eustace M. Pullen (both deceased).
He was married to Maria Thereza "Terry" Taves Pullen; they have three children, Dorothy, Victoria, and Robert, and two grandsons, Brian and Scott Belsky.
Guy started his professional career in Rio de Janeiro, as a marine insurance underwriter, and progressed through the insurance industry until he left the business in 1960. Guy joined Boyden Associates, a leading executive search firm, as Partner and Senior Vice-President in Sao Paulo. He later joined Korn-Ferry International, as VP in charge of Latin America, until his retirement as President of Overseas Operations, with headquarters in Chicago.
He and Terry moved to Naples, Florida in 1990, where they eventually took up residence in Bentley Village in 1999. Guy was very involved in many of the Bentley Village activities, and was elected as a voting member to the Board of Classic Bentley Village Inc. (CBVI). He was an Elder in the Bay Presbyterian Church, (located at 26911 S Bay Dr, Bonita Springs), where a Memorial Service will be held on September 29th, at 11am.

August 5, 2016 was a very sad day for me. I lost one on of my best friends. For years, Guy and I had lunch on Tuesdays in Naples with a group of other guys. We shared our lives, thoughts about life, and a deep faith in Christ. I've always known Guy Pullen to care deeply about what matters most in life and I will forever miss his friendship and that warm smile of his. I look forward to picking up where we left off when I get to the other side. Cathee and I send our love and condolences to Terry and the family.
