Michael Robert Magin Harrison, OH
Michael Robert Magin, 73 of Harrison, OH died Friday, January 31, 2014 in Cincinnati, OH. Born October 9, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH the son of the late William L. Magin and Lurrah (Ohara) Magin.
Michael retired from Proctor and Gamble after 32 years as the Advertising and Transportation manager. Michael grew up in the Northside then moved to Monfort Heights where he lived for many years before moving to the Harrison area in 1980. The avid golfer was also a part time resident of Naples, FL.
Michael was very proud of being President of the Monfort Heights civic center. He also served his country in the US Airforce.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Tyler) Brown of Cincinnati, OH and Sharron (Rick) Messerschmidt of Cincinnati, OH. Grandfather of Christian Brown, Shawn and Troy Messerschmitt.
Preceded in death by his brother Danny Bill Magin.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., followed by Funeral Services at 6:00 p.m., at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH with Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating.
Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association c/o the funeral home.

In addition to what I have already posted, I remember Michael very fondly. I had many beers with him at the tiki bar across the street at the hotel in Naples. I especially remember his huge laugh! When I first bought a place in the Kingston Club, Mike gave me his old bicycle which he didnt use anymore. When I visit the Kingston Club to this very day, I still ride that same bike!

I also worked with Mike for 25+ years at P&G. Always enjoyed being around him and he usually made my day better by helping me alot when there were situations that needed handled. Great co-worker and great friend. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I worked with Mike for 30 years at P&G and was a neighbor in Harrison for 12 years. Mike was a fun loving guy. Will be missed by many. My sympathy to your families.
