Loving husband, father and grandfather, 78, of Minneapolis, MN and Marco Island FL.
Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Susan Stein and brothers Edward and Arthur Stein.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gayle; daughter; Rhonda (Stuart Goldenberg) Stein; son, Scott (Julie) Stein; sisters, Shirlee Lenske and Maxine Robbins; grandchildren, Robyn Stein and Stefanie Weiner; extended family Marlene, Coco and Adriana Goldenberg; sisters-in-law, Janice Stein and Dorothy Herman; devoted nephew Jory Herman; and many other loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul was a man who loved his family and friends. His favorite thing in life was helping others. Paul was the president of The Zuhrah Patrol, President of Herzl Camp and founder/President of the Jewish Center of Marco Island. Paul started General Plumbing Company in Minneapolis and then later started Paul Stein Plumbing in Marco Island. Paul could fix anything and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His friendly nature and sense of humor earned him lifelong friendships everywhere. May his memory be a blessing.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Sunday at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Minneapolis.
Memorials are preferred to Herzl Camp.
