David Arkley Obituary
LANCASTER: David Arkley 70 of Lancaster formerly of Newark and Shawnee passed away Tuesday September 20, 2016 at the OSU James Cancer Center, Columbus.
He was born in Shawnee, the son of the late John and Margaret R. (Kopis) Arkley.
He was a retired employee of Rockwell of Newark He is survived by his brother, Jack Arkley of Hebron two sisters, Mary Bond of Columbus and Linda (Deward) Watts of Amanda and his sister- in-law Janet Arkley of Shawnee; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Frank Arkley and his brother-in-law Ken Bond.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday September 24, 2016 at the St Bernard Catholic Church, Corning with Father Stephen Carmody celebrant. Interment: Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 pm on Friday September 23, 2016 at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut Street, Shawnee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St Bernard Catholic Church P.O. Box 416 Corning, Oh 43730.

I am very sorry to hear of Dave's passing,
I have known Dave since we were 12-13 yea old.
I worked with Dave at Rockwell for 30 yrs, and we rode together for several years.
I knew him to be a hard working honest man and was pround to consider him a friend.
My concolances to Jack , and the family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
