John Wedaman Obituary
PROSPERITY — John Richard Wedaman, 70, died Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on January 18, 1947 in Newberry, he was a son of the late David LeRoy Wedaman Jr. and Marjie Louise Bobb Wedaman.
He was a Marine veteran and was retired from Duke Power. Mr. Wedaman was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of NRA.
He is survived by sisters, Evelyn Louise (Frank) Lloyd of Edisto Island and Barbara Ellen (Jospeh) Turner of Prosperity; nieces and nephews, Karen Suber, Kathy Pitts, Steven Suber, Michael Turner and Jonathan Wedamana; great-nieces and great-nephews, Courtney Turner, Hillary Suber, Hugh Pitts Jr. Mason Suber and Dean Suber.
He was predeceased by a brother, George David Wedaman.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church by the Rev. Arden Hallman.
Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 209 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
