Alfred Tessier Obituary
Alfred E. Tessier, Jr., 71, of Kensington, husband of Patricia (Sargis) Tessier, passed away Thursday (October 19, 2023) at his home. Born in Putnam, son of the late Alfred Tessier Sr. and Georgianna "Ella" (Racine) Tessier, Al graduated from Killingly High School and received his Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from CCSU. He was a Kensington resident since 1973. Al was a Notary Public and was an avid UConn and Boston Red Sox fan. He was previously employed at Electro-Mechanics in New Britain then later as a Buyer for Westinghouse, retiring in 2017.
Besides his wife Patricia, he leaves his mother-in-law, Frances Sargis of Kensington; a brother, Gary Tessier and his wife Barbara of Conway, SC; three sisters, Connie DeVozza and her husband Roger of Naples, FL; Louise Tessier of Sarasota, FL; and Rosemary Russo of Naples, FL; several nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews.
There are no funeral service or calling hours. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. No donations are requested, instead, please say a prayer for Al. The Carlson Funeral Home, New Britain is assisting with arrangements. Please share a memory or note of sympathy at www.carlsonfuneralhome.com
