Carlotta Griffin Obituary
HOMER – Carlotta Marie Burrows Griffin, 24, of Homer died on Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, at Kirby Funeral Home, 708 S. Main St., Homer. Pastor Chris Smithey will officiate.
Burial will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Homer. There will be a visitation from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Griffin was born on Aug. 25, 1982, in Champaign, a daughter of Joseph and Sherri Mattox Burrows.
Survivors include her parents of Champaign; one daughter, Kayla Dawn Griffin of Homer; one sister, Misty Burrows of Champaign; one brother, Joseph Burrows Jr. of Homer; and her maternal grandparents, Larry and Janet Mattox of Homer.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents. Mrs. Griffin was an avid reader. Memorials may be made to the Carlotta Griffin Memorial Fund.
