Lorena Maggi Obituary
CHAMPAIGN - Lorena J. Maggi, 87, of Champaign died at 1:29 p.m. Monday (May 27, 2024) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at Owens Funeral Home, 101 E. Elm St., Champaign, on Thursday. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Champaign, on Friday with a small private service.
Mrs. Maggi was born March 20, 1937, in Springfield, Mass. She was the oldest daughter of the late Joseph and Viola Harnois.
Lorena was preceded in death by her late husband, John P. Maggi.
She is survived by her two brothers; two sisters; five children, Robert J. Maggi, Annmarie Maggi, Ronald J. Maggi, Marcella A. Maggi and Michael R. Maggi; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the Champaign County Humane Society or an organization of the donor's choice. Condolences may be offered at owensfuneralhomes.com.
