Raymond Hott Obituary

– Raymond F. Hott, 91, of Moline, formerly of Champaign, died Nov. 13, 2007, at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Champaign. Memorials may be made to University of Illinois Alumni Association. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.

Raymond was born June 5, 1916, in Finley, to Charles and Alta Hott. He married Doris "Virginia" Satterlee in 1940 in Champaign.

He was a graduate of University of Illinois and continued working there for over 35 years as a purchasing agent. He retired in 1975.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia, Moline; son, Charles (Meg) Hott, Moline; daughter, Linda Rodehaver, St. Louis; grandchildren, Scott Rodehaver, St. Louis, Christine Rodehaver, California, Graham Hott, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Benjamin Hott, Moline, Holly Hott, Moline, Sarah Hott, Moline; brother, Charles Murphy Hott, Mattoon; sister, Norma Yantis, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and his brother.
