David Metzger Obituary
David was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors are his mother, Pamela Metzger; father, David (Nana) Metzger; sisters, Michelle Myers, Marianne Metzger, and Kristen Metzger; and his nephew and nieces, Ryan Myers, Kayla Schneithorst, and Kassidy Metzger. He is also survived by a host of cousins in New York and many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Doris Johnson and Dave and Harriet Metzger.
A celebration of David's life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
In memory of David and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602, donate online at www.hospicewr.org.

Dear Pam and Kris and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I recently spoke to him around Thanksgiving time, and he told me he was sick. I'm glad I got a chance to speak to him again but I'm so sad that he's gone. We had some fun times in our youth, he was always a nice guy. He will be missed.

Dearest Pam and Dave, There are no words to say how bad we feel about David. No parent should have to bury a child. I only knew David as a infant. We were your old neighbors on Mohegan trail.Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Again we are so sorry.
