Edgar Brandt Obituary

Edgar "Leroy" Brandt, age 87 of Madison, passed away May 11, 2016 at his place of residence. He was born on November 22, 1928 in Summer Set County, Pennsylvania.
Leroy was an Instrument Mechanic at the Diamond Alkali for many years. After retiring from the Diamond he worked in the Pro Shops at Erie Shores and Powder Horn Golf Course.
Leroy was an avid bowler at the former North Ridge Lanes Bowling Alley where he bowled on many leagues. He was a Veteran of the Army of United States during the Korean War.
Survivors are his sons, Richard (Linda Mowchan) Brandt, Mark (Jackie) Brandt; daughter, Pam (Larry) Bush, all of Madison; grandson, Chris (Katie) Brandt of Mentor; and great grandchildren, Emily and Ashley.
Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Rd., Madison, Ohio 44057.

Leroy was one of the nicest people on the planet. He was kind, generous and he had a good sense of humor. I enjoyed working with him at Powderhorn golf course.
