Joseph Chiancone Obituary
Mr. Chiancone passed away Jan. 20, 2016, at his residence.
Born Nov. 15, 1922, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for more than 60 years.
Mr. Chiancone was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and trained as a mechanic. He was also an avid golfer and bowler and loved gardening and his beloved dog, ""Maggie.""
He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Wanda (nee Craine) Chiancone; loving father of Robert J. Chiancone (Linda Lahodny) of Chardon and Ronald J. (Grace) Chiancone of Wintergarden, Fla.; cherished grandfather of Nicole, Rachel and Jessica; and uncle of many.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at The Abbey prior to the service. Burial will be held at a later date.
