Robert David Stackpoole

1944 - 2021

Robert D. Stackpoole; October 14, 1944 - September 24, 2021; passed away at Beaumont Hospital in Trenton on September 24, 2021 at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. His loved ones will strive to honor his memory by living life to the fullest. Robert was born to Robert Donald & Rosemarie Grace Stackpoole in Detroit, Michigan. He resided in Southgate, Michigan. Robert is survived by his longtime significant other Nancy, sons Robert Patrick and Shane Michael; his siblings Sharon Timmons, Mike (Lesa) Stackpoole, Mark (Marcia) Stackpoole, Nancy (Doug) Moncel & Suzanne Haerr. He is now joined in heaven with his brothers Patrick & Matthew. Also survived by his grandchildren Robert Francis, Dylan Ernest, Quinn Russell, Thomas Luke, Madison Alethia, Noah Jackson, Luc Munro, Elijah Lincoln & his two great grandchildren, soon to be expected, all whom he loved dearly. Robert had many endeavors in his lifetime, including being an entrepreneur, salesman and real estate agent. He had a passion for life, laughter and family. He motivated everyone to live a simple happy life. He was a chef, loved to work, go to the gym, play chess and watch old movies. He was also well known for his long and entertaining stories. He had a zest for life and will be remembered long after his passing. Robert requested that his body be donated to science and we have honored his wishes. His family shall put together a "celebration of life" in a few months after his ashes are returned. May he rest in Christ's Love.
