DAVID A. "TONY" STANLEY

David A. "Tony" Stanley, age 54, of Bunnell, died suddenly Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at his home from natural causes. He was a native of Gilmore County, Georgia, was raised in Ormond Beach and had lived in Bunnell since 1988. He graduated from Seabreeze High School in 1974. He had owned and operated Southern Styles Contracting in Flagler County for several years and was a member and Elder of the Central Church of Christ in Bunnell. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and loved to discuss politics and religion. He was preceded in death by a son, Jason M. Stanley and his parents, Lola and Vernon Stanley. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Janet L. Stanley of Bunnell; son, Chad Eggleston & wife, Amanda of Russellville, Kentucky; daughter, Cassi Eggleston of Bowling Green, Kentucky; brother, Jim Davis & wife, Joan of Port Orange; sisters, Kathy Rabren & husband, Ken of Duluth, GA, Evie Mellette of Ormond Beach, JoAnn Mellette & husband, Buddy of Marathon, FL, and Tammy McLeod & husband, Dennis of Holly Hill; grandson, Colton Eggleston of Russellville; along with many nieces, nephews, and family. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 17th at the Central Church of Christ, 400 N. State Street, Bunnell with Bro. David Stidham officiating. Burial will follow in Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach. Friends may call today (Friday) from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Central Church of Christ.
