Holly was a veteran of the United States Marines and served her country from March 1943 until she received an Honorable Discharge in 1946. During her service, she was stationed in San Diego, CA and once discharged became a Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff for some 10 years. She owned and operated the business for 10 years then became an instructor for Daytona Beach Community College for five years. She returned to the building industry by building two additional commercial buildings and leased them in Holly Hill. Holly studied locksmithing and was locally employed, until she opened her own business named Holly Ann Scott Locksmithing serving East Volusia County for over 16 years. She was a proud member of the Central Florida Locksmithing Association, the Freewheelers R.V. Camping Club, and Team Captain and coach of the "Good Old Girls" pool league. A host of many friends will miss her presence. In lieu of flowers, Holly request that all donations go to the Halifax Humane Society in her name, 2364 W. LGPA, Daytona Beach, FL 32124. I always enjoyed our time at the Freewheeler's campouts together. Holly was an avid reader and we would swap books back and forth all the time! She was an interesting lady and always had a new story tell at each campout. Our sincere sympathy to her family...Tom and Cindy Salinsky
