Justin Caine Lewis, 27, of Deleon Springs, was killed Wednesday October 5th, 2016 at 6:56 am after he was struck by a passing vehicle while walking on the side of the road. He was born in Sanford, FL. on November 6th, 1988 to Leonard and Louise Lewis. Justin graduated from Taylor Dewitt High School in 2007. He played on his high school football and wrestling team. Growing up he was a child model and national pageant winner. His mother was stopped all the time and told by many that "he was boy you just wanted to stop and look at". He did everything from cub scouts to karate to baseball. He loved doing anything outdoors, especially if it involved the water. Fishing and surfing were his favorite. He loved his parents and children dearly. He was a jack of all trades and could do anything he put his mind to. He was a great son, father, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend. He was a treasured soul and loved by so many people. He did his best to make sure that they knew he loved them too. He had a lot left to live for. He had lost his path but was working hard to find his way again to give his children a better life. His was a precious life that was taken from us too soon. Justin's mother, Louise Lewis, passed away in 2014. He is survived by his father Leonard C Lewis of Deleon Springs, his two children Logan Caine Lewis and Jenna Justine Lewis, his sister Tiffany Padgett, his grandfather John "Red" Lewis, his estranged wife Chelsea Lewis and numerous aunts and uncles; Jack Herbert and Debbie on his mother's side, Beverly, Diane, Linda, Mike, and Mollie on his father's side. He had multiple cousins who loved him like a brother as well. A celebration of his life will be held at his father's house in DeLeon Springs on October the 22nd, at two o'clock in the afternoon. In lieu of flowers we ask for you to write down your favorite memories of Justin and bring them with you to be placed into a book for his children.
