You were a great father and I will always miss you. I love and appreciate everything you have done for me. I really appreciate the advice and life's lessons you've taught me. It's very difficult to say the least not seeing you or hearing your voice but I know you are in a better place now. When you asked me if I was shocked that you made it this far, I said no, because you never gave up on anything. I'm glad that I was able to tell you that I am proud of you while you could hear it.

Years ago I had Mr, Brown as a Civics teacher. At the time we had many animated debates about political theory. Mr. Brown challenged me to look beyond the obvious, search for truth and to stand up for what I believe in.
He was a great teacher, and one I have remembered well and fondly. Thank you, Mr. Brown. Rest in Peace.
